NAA PRESS RELEASE EA
sponsor NAA for More Codes of Conduct! The
National Angling Alliance Code of Conduct for Coarse Anglers was launched in October
last year, but has proved so popular that it is shortly to go for its first reprint!
The print run of nearly 50,000 copies is fast disappearing but, thanks to further
very generous funding from the EA a further 75,000 copies are to be made available.
The Code has been endorsed by HRH The Prince of Wales, the RSPB, Environment Agency,
English Nature, Professor David Bellamy and many others. It is a blueprint for
environmentally-friendly fishing, giving comprehensive coverage on care of the
environment, anglers' behaviour, tackle advice and up-to-date fish care. Its aim
is to build and enhance angling and help safeguard the aquatic environment and
its surrounding habitat.
The Code
is available through the NAA Secretariat, the Environment Agency, the National
Federation of Anglers, and the Specialist Anglers' Alliance.
